About

Bridging academic and applied practice, this group supports members in conducting, sharing, and applying research that drives evidence-based innovation across the region.

Evidence-Based Practice

The Evidence Based Practice working group aims to provide society members with a good understanding of what EBP is and why they might choose to use this approach in their own work.  We hope to provide a variety of opportunities for people to feel supported utilising EBP, through resources, hearing from others’ experiences and understanding the questions raised around common business psychology issues.

Diversity & Inclusion

The Society of Business Psychology Middle East launched its Diversity & Inclusion Working Group in early 2025 as part of our ongoing commitment to fostering inclusive, psychologically healthy workplaces across the region.

Our mission is to advance inclusion and psychological wellbeing by promoting evidence-based practices that reflect the diverse realities of workplaces in the Middle East. The group brings together professionals and researchers to explore how psychology can drive meaningful change, creating environments where individuals of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities feel seen, heard, and valued.

We are focused on three key pillars of inclusion: culture, disability, and neurodiversity. Through research, collaboration, and the development of practical tools, we aim to embed inclusive values into everyday business practices. By centering lived experiences and addressing systemic barriers, the group works to enhance equity, belonging, and psychological safety in both professional and educational settings.

Together, we’re building a more inclusive future for the region’s evolving business landscape.
